Another one of my #FTF (Food that is fast) series. In the mornings I generally don’t eat breakfast unless on vacation, but sometimes you just need something to get you going and give you a bit of energy. My recipe for this watermelon protein shake is perfect for mornings or even after an intense workout where you need a protein kick.
Here’s what you need
- 1.5 cups of watermelon
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1/2 avocado for thickness
- 1 tbsp rice protein powder
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- Blender or Magic Bullet
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Super easy right? It’s also good for after a workout because of the protein powder.
