It’s funny how you make friends as an adult. Dave and I started being friends over having an argument in front of the coffee bar. I was getting heated when Sally walked by and said hi. I paused from being a grump to cheer up to say hi, then back to grump mode. That’s when he laughed at how ridiculous it was that in one moment I could be so angry and yet still be kind. That was the first real conversation/interaction we had, and after that we understood each other a lot better. One of the last texts that he sent me, and he sent it twice to make sure it was the text was “Then we’d be outlaws”. So gangsta. 98/100
